BRANDING, PACKAGING
PROJECT INTRODUCTION

Algae is an incredible and relatively untapped renewable resource with fast regeneration times and low maintenance costs. An increase in the research to find its benefits and potential applications has led to delicious bacon-flavored alternatives, protein supplements, biofuel, and now hair products.

Diatoms, a vital group of microalgae, are found in the ocean. These unicellular organisms are beautiful, geometric, and strong with clear silica cell walls that create stunning structures and reflections of light. They serve as the inspiration for the cellular structure of the packaging and the reoccurring pattern of cells.

A line of three hair products uses nutrients extracted from the cells to offer different benefits and treatments. The packaging needed to look prescription, but not full 'doctor' to hint at the strong and beneficial formula without going overboard and scaring off potential consumers.

A shoutout to my 8th grade math teacher for teaching me some stellar geometry skills. I skipped on doing the proofs for this one.
