Over the summers of 2015 & 2016 I emptied my fridge of uneaten eggs, had a long phone conversation with my parents, then set off to hike 900 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail solo, making my way through Oregon and Washington all the way to Canada. Along the way I documented the hikertrash lifestyle and everything that came along with it using my handy little Cannon G9X.
After a failed attempt in 2015 to do it all in one go due to weather and fire closures, and equipped with a shiny new tent and rain skirt, I completed the section in 2016 without as much butt chafe and with over 242 mosquito bites more. Over the course of 3 days I saw 5 bears and heard much more. So if they're not your thing, then it's best not to go camping with me.
